Hi, I'm Kaitie!
I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), former special education teacher, and founder of Spot On Education & Behavior Consulting. For more than a decade, I've dedicated my career to helping children with diverse learning and behavioral needs succeed by equipping the adults who support them.
My experience spans public education, early childhood intervention, intensive behavioral services, and leadership within multidisciplinary teams. I've served as a classroom teacher, behavior analyst, Safety-Care trainer, clinical supervisor, and consultant, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges families, educators, and organizations face every day.
I created Spot On Education & Behavior Consulting because I believe effective support should be practical, compassionate, and rooted in evidence. Whether I'm partnering with parents to navigate challenging behaviors, helping educators build confidence in the classroom, consulting on IEPs, or providing professional development to school teams, my goal is always the same: to empower others with strategies they can confidently implement long after our work together.
I believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and every caregiver and educator deserves the knowledge, support, and encouragement to help make that possible. I'm passionate about turning complex behavioral and educational challenges into practical solutions that create meaningful, lasting change.

My Story
My passion for education and behavior began long before I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Throughout my career as a special education teacher, behavior specialist, and consultant, I've had the privilege of working alongside incredible children, families, and educators—each with their own unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Along the way, I noticed something that never changed: meaningful progress happens when the adults in a child's life feel supported, confident, and equipped with the right tools. Too often, parents and educators are handed strategies without the guidance or encouragement needed to implement them successfully.
That's why I created Spot On Education & Behavior Consulting.
My mission is to bridge the gap between research and real life by providing practical, individualized, evidence-based support that empowers families, educators, and organizations to create lasting change. Whether we're navigating challenging behaviors, strengthening learning opportunities, or building confidence in the people who support children every day, I believe collaboration is the foundation of success.
